Operations
As part of the diversification drive and to address the challenge of inadequate petroleum product supply as well as limited service stations in the country, Tholo has penetrated the retail market in Lesotho.
THE LESOTHO PETROLEUM RETAIL SECTOR COMPRISES OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Paraffin supply;
- Diesel including jet-fuel supply;
- Petrol supply;
All these products are mainly supplied by retail filling stations including retail shops.
Tholo’s principal objective is to reach out to all the areas of the country including the deserted urban areas.
The following milestones have been achieved to date to this end:
- Supply of multiple Paraffin retailers across the country;
- Supply of multiple Service stations across the county which supply both petrol and diesel;
Tholo energy is currently supplying 8 filling stations with petrol (ulp 93) and diesel (d50) in 5 districts , and we are currently building a depot and 4 filling stations starting to operate in 2021.
